Rosicky tips Oxlade to shine May 25, 2012

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky reckons team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will justify England manager Roy Hodgson's faith in him at Euro 2012.

The uncapped winger was called into Hodgson's squad for the tournament in Poland and Ukraine, despite having made just six Premier League starts for Arsenal this season.
Hodgson said he was particularly impressed with Oxlade-Chamberlain's performance in the Champions League round-of-16, second leg tie against Milan - when, after getting thrust into an unfamiliar central midfield role, he made a telling contribution as Arsenal nearly overturned a significant first-leg deficit.
That outing proved Oxlade-Chamberlain can make the difference at the highest level - and Rosicky, the Czech Republic captain, has urged Hodgson to give his fellow Gunner some playing time.
"I was surprised to see him in the England squad, but he definitely has the tools to succeed," Rosicky told Eurosport. "When he comes on as a sub, he is a real impact player.
"He can change the game, and brings something very fresh. I'm really happy for him, and it will be a great experience for him going straight into the Euros. Potentially, he has a huge upside and can develop into a great player."
