National Stadium Abuja, Now Wears A New Look!

The Abuja National Stadium is now wearing a new look, thanks to the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC) Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi who issued a directive to the Director of Facilities at the NSC Abubakar Magaji that the stadium’s glory must be restored.

I think the Minister was too ashamed of how the stadium looks, especially when the unkempt pictures were circulating through the internet media, and people were expressing their displeasure over the sorry and dilapidated state of the stadium.

Well the government has responded, and the stadium has been on a visit to the ''barber'' over the weekend, and can been seen to have gotten a new and  hair cut.

Repair works was said to have started at the stadium on Friday, September 14th and the following day, a major part of the renovation had been carried out.

 The Honourable Minister was said to have  issued a query to the Director of Facilities, Magaji, over the sorry state of the Abuja Stadium recently, and shortly after the query, routine works began at the stadium, and a few days later, it is wearing a new look.
